Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo is wine merchant and estate wine-grower based in the Veneto region of Italy.

History: 1935 Santa Margherita was founded by Count Gaetano Marzotto in 1935. The company became famous initially for its Pinot Grigio (see below under Santa Margherita). Now a group, it owns wineries and vineyards in Eastern Veneto, the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills, Alto Adige, Lombardy (Franciacorta and Lugana), Tuscany (Chianti Classico and Maremma), Sicily and Sardinia. Wines under the Santa Margherita brand come from Eastern Veneto, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, and Alto Adige. | 2017 In August 2017 the group acquired a majority share in Cantina Mesa in Sardinia.
