Villa Vistarenni is an estate winery in Vistarenni, a locality in the eastern sector of Gaiole-in-Chianti commune in the Chianti Classico DOCG region, Tuscany, Italy. The Villa Vistarenni dates to the 17th-century and belonged to the noble family of Prince Ferdinando Strozzi and later Barone Giorgio Sonnino. The villa lies on a hill (500 metres). It is classifed a Historic Residence by Italy’s Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Landscape

Owner: Santa Margherita (group).

History: Formerly owned by Elisabetta Tognana. In 1988 she founded Italy’s National Association of Women in Wine or ‘Le Donne del Vino’ at a meeting in Florence. It had fifteen founder members. The oenologist under Elisabetta Tognana was Gaspare Buscemi.
