Château Coustolle is located in Fronsac, a commune in the Fronsadais on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. It produces red wines under the Canon-Fronsac AOC.
Owner: Alain Roux and his wife Danièle. They also own Château Bourdieu La Valade, Château Capet-Bégaud, and Château Chêne de Gombeau, all in the commune of Fronsac.
Vineyards: 20ha, ‘large by Fronsac standards,’ (David Peppercorn MW:1991, p.557). North of Fronsac on a hill (‘côte’) site. Merlot (60%), Bouchet (30%) and Malbec (10%).
