Château Bourdieu La Valade is an estate winery in Fronsac on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Red wines are made under the Fronsac AOC. The main building is a hunting lodge built for Cardinal Richelieu. Twin Italian-style towers were added in the 19th-century. It belonged to the Chaperon family until the 1950s.

Owner: Alain Roux of Château Coustolle which see for his other estates in the commune of Fronsac.

Vineyards: 12ha. 80% Merlot. 15% Malbec (Pressac). Ridge of blue clay around the Tertre de la Mouleyre, in the north of Fronsac commune.
