Wiltingen is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The most important town in the Saar region of Germany Wiltingen’s ‘large old houses are evidence that a century and more ago considerable profits were made from viticulture here,’ says Stuart Pigott (1995, p.35).
