Santa Cristina a Mezzana is a hamlet located in the municipality of Carmignano in the Prato province. The hamlet that develops between hills of olive groves and vineyards is about ml. 228 above the sea level and can be reached from the capital (Carmignano), about 1.5 km away, continuing from the latter in a northerly direction along the Provincial Road SP10 (known as Pietramarina). The oldest part of the village is aligned along the old road, lowered than the current road. The fraction is about 14 Km. From the provincial capital Prato, about 25 Km. From Florence and about 18 Km. From Pistoia. The town celebrates its patron saint of S. Cristina on July 24th. In the town there is the church of Santa Cristina, built between the 17th and 20th centuries. It underwent changes in 1600 and 1940, inside the church there are paintings of the sixteenth century.
