Azienda Agricola San Benedetto is an estate winery in Località San Benedetto in the San Gimignano region of Tuscany in Italy. It makes Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and DOCG Riserva white wines. 

Owners: Siblings Marco Gianelli (sales) and Andrea Gianelli (grape growing & winemaking).

Vineyards: 2013 22ha of which 5ha of Vernaccia. The vines are in three areas, one of which is in the north of San Gimignano, at Località San Benedetto. Vines are also found in Località Strada and Località Remignoli. Sauvignon Blanc is sited on low-lying terrain.

Organic certification: 2019 No.

White wines

Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG: 2012 Malty nose, but not too rich underneath (2013 Anteprima). | 2017 100% Vernaccia. 13% alc. 8,000 bottles. Light pineapple notes (2019 Anteprima).

Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Riserva: 2011 100% Vernaccia. 50% freshly pressed grapes, 50% grapes which are allowed to dehydrate for 20 days indoors to concentrate. Grapes then pressed. The wine ferments in 700-litre casks on yeast with lees stirring. A bit woody and linear, some toffee (2013 Anteprima. | 2015 Same winemaking as the 2011. 15% alc. Bit faded, clarity somewhat lacking (2019 Anteprima). | 2016 100% Vernaccia. Same winemaking as for the 2011. 1,800 bottles. Nice weight, but some bitterness too (2019 Anteprima).
