Podere Il Palazzino is an estate in Monti in Chianti, a locality in the southern part of Gaiole-in-Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany, Italy. As well as red wines, a Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC is also produced.

Vineyards: 2019 15ha of vines. 330-500m. Clay, alberese, galestro.

Red wines

Chianti Classico DOCG, Argenina: 2015 100% Sangiovese. Soft-centred, hint of green tannins, bit simple (Anteprima 2019).

Chianti Classico DOCG, La Pieve

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Grosso Sanese: 2011 Decent red fruit, some crunch, some green, some plump, lacks a bit of zip (NY 29 June 2017). | 2013 100% Sangiovese.

Colorino: Said to make a very good Colorino.

Casina Girasole: Not tasted.

Toscana Rosso, Azzero: 100% Sangiovese.

Vin Santo

Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC: 2006 70% Malvasia del Chianti, 30% Trebbiano toscano.
