Marzemina Nera is a red wine grape variety grown in the Veneto region of its native Italy. Its historic stamping ground is the area around Padova where it survives. It is also found around Verona and Ian d’Agata says its extremely long, large bunch makes it quite distinctive.
Where grown: It is the most abundant of the Marzeminas that still exist today, but is still not very common. It survives there, sporadically, and is also found around Verona.
