Limeburn Hill Vineyard is the first biodynamic vineyard in the Bristol area of the west of England, United Kingdom. It was planted as Biodynamic from 2015 by founder-owners and former architects Robin and Georgina Snowdon.

Vineyard: The vineyard is at Westfield Farm, on the edge of Chew Magna, near Bristol. It was planted from spring 2015, with three red varieties–Pinot Noir and two PIWIs, namely Rondo and Regent; and three white varieties (all PIWIs), namely Orion, 300 Seyval Blanc vines and 50 Solaris vines. There are 1.61 hectares (4 acres) in total on what was an organic pasture overlooking the Chew Valley. Rootstocks are all SO4. The owners subsequently bought a field across the road from the existing vineyard with the aim of planting another 0.5 hectares of Orion, which seems to be do well on this particular terroir, plus 0.5 hectares of Johanniter and possibly other more recently bred PIWIs.

Certification: Demeter-certified Biodynamic from 2014, because the owners applied Biodynamic sprays to the land before the vines were planted (hooray!).

VIisits: As well as the vineyard, Westfield Farm (the host farm) has several activities of interest (permaculture, natural beekeeping, cheese making, etc.).
