Gambellara DOC is a white wine from Vicenza Province, the Soave region‘s eastern neighbour, in the Veneto region of north-east Italy. It is named after the eponymous town. Gambellara’s dry whites are based on the Garganega grape, and are similar in style to Soave (David Gleave MW: 1989, p.74). ‘Recioto’ is also made.
