Fetzer Vineyards is a vineyard owner and winery in Mendocino County in the North Coast AVA of California. It was founded by the Fetzer family. It owns the Bonterra organic brand as well as three Biodynamic ranches called Blue Heron, Butler and McNab. Bonterra came about after a five-acre organic-Biodynamic kitchen garden established in 1985 was a success.

Marketing: One of Fetzer’s advertising campaigns bore this line: ‘Instead of using chemicals to protect our vines from bugs, we use something much more potent. Other Bugs,’ (As seen on the back page of the October 2003 issue of Wine International (published in the UK).
