Enrico Santini, producer in the Bolgheri region of Tuscany. He is from Bolgheri, and founded the estate in 1998. His previous career was 15 years in the supermarket (he left in 1995). He then worked in his friend Michele Satta’s winery for three years before founding his own estate – with no winery, vineyards, or tools. He borrowed the money to get doing and planted his first vineyard in 1998. He made a winery in the garage and basement of his home. 2000 was his first year of production. Attilio Pagli has consulted here.
