Daniel Landi Viticultor is the personal project of winemaker Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi–(Dani for short. Landi’s project is in his native region of Méntrida in Spain. Dani worked for Bodegas Jimenez-Landi, then became involved in the Comando G project, working with remote parcels of old-vine Garnacha (Grenache Noire) in the Sierra de Gredos (Gredos Mountains).

Las Uvas de Le Ira: From Grenache Noir in the Sierra de Gredos (Gredos mountains). Sandy soil, degraded granite at 750-800 metres. 4 plots. | 2014 Very nice savoury picnic red, very good (Real Wine Fair 2016). | 2015 Low sulfurs. Slightly sour, bretty (Real Wine Fair 2017).
Cantos del Diablo: 2011 North-facing. Sandy granite. Grenache noir. Lovely fruit, really starting to open, very delicate (Real Wine Fair 2016).
El Reventon: Red clay over slate (like Banyuls). | 2012 Lovely red fruit, floral (Real Wine Fair 2016).
Las Iruelas: Grenache Noir on silt, quartz and slate. 1,000 metres. | 2014 964 bottles. Pale and bretty, dry end (Real Wine Fair 2017).
