Curtefranca DOC is located in the province of Brescia, Lombardy, Italy. Curtefranca is the denomination that since 2008 has taken the place of Terre di Franciacorta.
Terroir: The geographical area dedicated to the production of Curtefranca DOC wine is bordered to the east by the rocky and morainic hills of Rodengo Saiano, Ome, Gussago and Cellatica, to the north by the southern shores of Lake Iseo and by the last offshoots of the Rhaetian Alps, to the west from the Oglio river and finally to the south from Monte Orfano. The territory is adequately ventilated, bright and favorable to the fulfillment of all the vegetative-productive functions of the vineyards.
