Cooperativa Valli Unite is a co-operative winery in Costa Vescovato, a commune in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piedmont (Piemonte), located about miles (100 kms) southeast of Turin (Torino) and about 25 kms southeast of Alessandria. Wines are made under the Colli Tortonesi DOC.

History: The cooperative was founded in 1975 by Ottavio Rube, Cesare Berutti and Enrico Boveri. At the time Ottavio, Cesare and Enrico were owners of three small farms, but did not have enough land between them to create a cooperative. The only way of adding extra land was by taking over the poorest, most marginal farmland. Other farms in the area were being modernized and into larger conventional farms using fertilizers, herbicdes, fungicides and pesticides. Valli Unite chose to work using organic and biodynamic farming methods. Their ethos has seen Costa Vescovato develop into a eco-conscious township which derives most of its energy from solar power.
