Colli Piacentini DOC dates from 1984 and is located in the Piacenza hills (Colli Piacentini) in the extreme west of the Emilia-Romagna region in north-east Italy where the boundaries of both the Piedmont (Piemonte) and Lombardy (Lombardia) regions converge.
