Chianciano Terme is a commune and spa town in the south of the Tuscan province of Siena, Italy, about 90 kms southeast of Florence and 50 kms southeast of Siena, between the Valdichiana the Val d’Orcia in the border with the Umbria region. In the 5th century B.C. The Etruscans had a temple near the spring called Sillene, where Chianciano Terme is today.
Chianciano Terme is entitled to the Orcia DOC.
