Château Canon-Moueix is an estate in the commune of Fronsac on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. It makes red wine under the Canon-Fronsac AOC. Its former name was Pichlèbre (‘pisselièvre’ in Gascon).

Owner: Ets J-P Moueix. Formerly owned by the de Brem family.

Vineyard: 5ha. 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. On fine south-west facing slopes below and west of the village of Fronsac, overlooking the Dordogne valley. The soil is described as clayey limestone,’ (David Peppercorn MW: 1991, p.556).
