Château Canon (Christian Moueix) is located in Fronsac in the Fronsadais on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Red wines are made under the Canon-Fronsac AOC.

Owner: Christian Moueix, son of Jean-Pierre. The Moueix family’s (Ets J-P Moueix) first vineyard acquisition in Fronsac.

The Château: Restoration style, built in the 1850s.

Vineyards: 1.35ha. ‘A minute vineyard on the Côte de Canon,’ (David Peppercorn MW: 1991, p.554).
