Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio DOCG Classico Riserva is a white wine from Italy’s Le Marche region (See Verdicchio in Le Marche). It is similar to the Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG by being being made from the same formula of 85-100% Verdicchio and an optional 0-15% white grapes authorised in Le Marche. The difference is that for Classico Riserva the vines must be in the smaller, original, historic or ‘Classico’ area. This excludes the territories to the left of the Misa River and the territories belonging to the municipalities of Ostra and Senigallia in Ancona province.
