Barberesco is the municipality in Cuneo Province in the Piemonte (Piedmont) region of Italy which gives its name to the Barbaresco DOCG. It is located about 31 miles (50 kms) southeast of Turin (Torino)  and about 60 kms (37 miles) northeast of Cuneo.
