Arcevia is a municipality (‘comune’) in Ancona province in the Marche region, central-eastern Italy. It may have been settled before the Roman conquest by the Gauls.

Wine: Arcevia lies in the west of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC zone, near the Apennines. Wines can be made under the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC Superiore

Terroir: Arcevia lies at about 535 metres (1,755 ft) above sea level, on a hill overlooking the valley of the Lisa river and the Nevola river, about 31 miles (50km) south-west of the city of Ancona itself. It lies on the left or north bank of the Esino river.
