Apiro is a commune in the Province of Macerata in Le Marche, a region on the Adriatic coast of Italy. It is located 115.5 miles (25 kms) north-west of the town of Macerata and about 25 miles (40 kms) south-west of the port city of Ancona. Wines can be made under the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC Superiore.
