Tunuyán Department is a Department located on the eastern border of Mendoza Province in Argentina. The provincial subdivision has a population of about 42,000 inhabitants in an area of 3,317 km2 (1,281 sq mi), and its capital city is Tunuyán, which is located around 730 miles (1,175 km) from the Capital federal. Tunuyán is the middle of the three departments in the Uco Valley of Mendoza in Argentina, the other two being Tupungato to the north and San Carlos to the south. Tunuyan has two sub-regions called Vista Flores and Los Arboles.
