Torre Raone is an organic estate in Loreto Aprutino, in Pescara province in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It was founded in the 1960s (then 29ha) and was purchased by the current owners in 1997 (still 29ha). Its name refers to a Swabian tower. Wines are made under the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC and Colline Pescaresi IGT, plus Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Cerasuolo DOC, and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, San Zopito Terre dei Vestini: 2007 Montepulciano. Appasiamento. Barrel aged. 15%. Rich and porty, nice but too heavy for some (Millésime Bio Jan 2012).
