Teramo is the capital city of Teramo Province in the hilly northern part of the Abruzzo region of Italy. It gives its name to a sub-zone of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC created in 2003 and called Colline Teramane Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG.
