Tenuta Barbadoro is a certified organic estate in the commune of Montespertoli in the province of Siena, Tuscany. The estate began estate bottling in 2004, but in 2015 was also selling a proportion of its production in bulk (‘sfuso’). Its flagship wine is the Chianti Montespertoli DOCG.

White wines
Bianco, Amalindo: 2013 8,000 bottles. 95% Trebbiano Toscana, 5% Malvasia. Crisp, limey at Vinitaly 2015. | 2014 Creamy (Vinitaly 2016).
Rosso Toscano, Domizio: 2013 10,000 bottles. 100% Sangiovese. 6 month in concrete tanks. Nice and bright and simple (Vinitaly 2015).
Chianti Montespertoli DOCG, IIº Guido: 2012 100% Sangiovese. 12m in oak ‘botti’. Smoke oak, some reduction, OK, pleasant but fragile fruit (Vinitaly 2015).
Other activities: 2016 2ha of olives (1,800 olive trees).
