White wines
Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC Bianco: 2003 80% Trebbiano, 20% Vermentino. Stainless steel. 7,000 bottles. A bit light, some oxidation, cleanish and bland (in Monteregio di Massa Marittima 12th March 2005).
Red wines
Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC, Bacucco di Suveraia: 2000 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. MLF in barrel. 2,600 bottles. Bit dry but not bad for light wine from this zone with such age; simple and rather expensive when tasted in Monteregio di Massa Marittima on Saturday 12th March 2005.
Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC, Suveraia Rosso di Campetroso: 2003 100% Sangiovese. Dry tannins, solid frame, plenty of energy here, not too over extracted, old vines, unfiltered when tasted in Monteregio di Massa Marittima on Saturday 12th March 2005.
