Sassocorvaro was a commune in the Province of Pesaro e Urbino in the Le Marche region of Italy until 31 December 2018 when it merged with another former commune, Auditore. Sassocorvaro is now a frazione of the commune of Sassocorvaro Auditore. Its main landmark is the the Rocca Ubaldinesca, aka the ‘sentinel of the Montefeltro’. It is located on the edge of the Bianchello del Metauro DOC, 50 miles (80 kms) west of Ancona and 22 miles (35 kms) southwest of Pesaro.
