San Gimignano Rosato DOC is a pink wine from San Gimignano in Italy’s Tuscany region. It follows the same rules as San Gimignano Rosso DOC, except that permitted grape yields for San Gimignano Rosato are higher at 10 tonnes per hectare (8 tonnes for Rosso), and the wine can be released earlier than its red counterpart, from 1st January following the harvest. In addition, the maximum level of residual sugar is slightly higher at 6g/l.
