Sainte-Colombe is a commune located around 25 miles (40 km) east of the city of Bordeaux, near Castillon-la-Bataille on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. Ste-Colombe is one of eight communes whose red wines qualify for the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux AOC. The commune neighbours the Saint Emilion AOC directly to the west.
