Rocca delle Macìe is an estate winery in Castellina-in-Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany. In 1973 Italo Zingarelli realized his life-long dream of purchasing the ‘Macìe’ estate and transforming it into a winery. Italo’s children are Sandra, Fabio and Sergio Zingarelli. In 1985 Sergio became personally responsible for the worldwide distribution of the wines. In 1989, he was appointed Company President, and, with his wife Daniela at his side, has worked to perpetuate the dream shared with his father, the founder. The same owners also made wine from Campomaccione in the Scansano area of Tuscany.
