Preveiral is a white grape variety native to Italy.

Where grown: In Piemonte (Piedmont) it has several synonyms depending on the origin area. It is not related to Preveiral Nero, a different red grape that shares a similar name. Its cultivation is now limited to Piedmont’s Val Maira, Val di Susa and Val Bormida (the latter in particular).

Viticulture: Medium sized sparse bunches, with medium berries. Vigourous, with abundant and reliable productivity, and very disease sensitive.
