Pontedera an industrial town in the Province of Pisa, Tuscany, central Italy. It houses the Amedei chocolate factory and the Castellani wine company (see link below). It is also home to the headquarters of the Piaggio motorbike (moped) company. Piaggio had its own provincial airport here during the war for test flights.
