Paso Robles AVA is located in the north of San Luis Obispo County and within the Central Coast AVA, California. The region is known for its Cabernet and Zinfandel, as well as for Rhône varieties such as Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvedre, Rousanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc. Other varieties grown here include Petite Syrah, Aglianico, Sangiovese, Tannat, Tempranillo and Vermentino, plus Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Organics, Biodynamics: 2018 Paso Robles AVA had 101.2 hectares (250 acres) of Demeter-certified Biodynamic vineyards.
