Pala is a winery on the Italian island of Sardinia (‘Sardegna’). It produces white wines under the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG. It is said to make benchmark white wines from the Nuragus grape variety.

Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, Stellato: 2014 Oak aged. Decent, not too overoaked. ‘Their best-seller’ (VIA tasting 01st December 2015).
I Fiori: 2014 Nuragus grape. Rich, ripe, creamy apricot/peach with some licorice bitterness, very drinkable (VIA tasting 01st December 2015). | 2016 13.5%. Creamy, light dry herb, very nice but maybe lacks a bit of (with Ian D’Agata in NY on Monday 26th June 2017).
