Oberemmel is a town in the Saar region of Germany, in a side valley east of Wiltingen. Its vineyard sites are a mix of both superb (Hütte, Rosenberg) and far more moderate ones. Oberemmel Rieslings are said to be more delicate and floral compared to the more noble Scharzhofberg wines (Pigott: 1995, p.35).
