Martin & Anna Arndorfer (néè Steninger) are organic wine-growers in the Kamptal region of Austria. Martin Arndorfer comes from a long line of winemakers and grew up on his parent’s estate. Anna’s father Karl was a respected Austrian winemaker. See also Fuchs und Hase.
Vineyards: 2016 8 hectares (19.8 acres). 60 plots, all in Strasserthaler. Old vines, from Martin’s grandfather. Never sprayed with pesticides.
Organic certification: 2017 First vintage with full organic certification.
White wines
Grezenlos: 2007 Bottled in 2012 after 5 years on the lees. 1,000 litres I think. Lovely weight at the Real Wine Fair 2016.

Grüner Veltliner, Die Leidenschaft: Leidenschaft translates as’passion’. | 2013 From the three oldest Grüner Veltliner vineyards on three different hill sites. Fantastic acidity again, and width, exotic (Real Wine Fair 2016).
Müller Thurgau, Per Se:
Riesling Handcrafted: 2015 From mainly heavy clay soil with some loess but not an ideal soil for Riesling. Hand picked. SO2 at bottling. Slightly cloudy. Outstanding (Real Wine Fair 2016).
