Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC is a sparkling red wine made from the red Lambrusco di Sorbara grape grown north-east of Modena in Emilia, the western part of Emilia-Romagna, in north-east Italy. Sorbara is ‘generally considered the classic zone’ for Lambrusco (David Gleave, 1989, p.88).
