La Pierotta is located in Scarlino in Grosseto Province in south-west Tuscany. It makes red wines under the Maremma DOC and the Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC.

Red wines

Maremma Rosso DOC, Solare: 2002 100% Syrah. 4,000 bottles. International style, bit thick and juicy, very simple (in Monteregio di Massa Marittima 12th March 2005).

Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC Rosso, Scarilius: 2002 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. Barrel aged. Deep colour but this is sweaty and VA too, needs drinking; bit heavy(in Monteregio di Massa Marittima 12th March 2005).
