Konz is a city in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Saar region, at the confluence of the rivers Saar and Moselle, approximately 5 mile (8 km) southwest or upstream of Trier. Konz is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde Konz

Tourism: Near the church of St Nikolaus is the excavated Kaiservilla, the former residence of Caesar Valentinian I (AD 364–375).
