Gimmeldingener Kapellenberg, vineyard site in Gimmeldingen in the Rhineland-Palatinate or Pfalz region in western Germany.

Terroir: A hillside vineyard site. Weingut A. Christmann says the topsoil comprises light-coloured sandstone, with a limestone rock formation close to the surface at 1 metre (or 3 feet and 3 inches). The result is Riesling with ‘slender fruit’ from the sandstone and ‘salty depth’ from the limestone.
