Geelong is a region in south Victoria, Australia.

Climate: Cool with an extended ripening period and low rainfall averaging between 500mm-600mm per annum. Strong winds (maritime breezes of the Bellarine and the Surf Coast) provide good airflow which reduces the risk of vine diseases.

Soils: Red-brown clay loams to Biscay black cracking clay, which forms a finely cracked surface crust. Dark volcanic top soils of Moorabool and dry, rocky outcrops at Anakie.

Harvest: Early March to end April.

Wines: Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir.
