Franco Terpin is an organic wine grower Gorizia in the Friuli region of north-east Italy. His family had a mixed farm which included livestock which from the 1970s onwards became mainly focussed on wine. The first wines were estate bottled in 1994.
Vineyards: 2012 11ha comprising a mix of family and rented vines. The vines are in the communes of San Floriano and partly in Monte Calvario (Stamas). Altitude of around 150 metres above sea level. South south-west facing.
Organic certification: 2011 First vintage with full organic certification.
Biodynamics: Terpin has been influenced by the work of Biodynamic consultant Michel Barbaud.

Quinto Quarto Bianco: 2010 Pinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT. 22mg/l total sulfites (Isabelle Legeron, 2014, p174).
Ribolla Gialla: 2006 A bit tired at RAW 2012.
Sauvignon Blanc: 2006 Toffee, sherry, mineral at RAW 2012.
Sialis Bianco: 45% Sauvignon, 45% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Grigio.
Sialis Pinot Grigio: Pinot Grigio.
Sialis Rosso: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet.
