Fossombrone is a commune in Pesaro e Urbino Province in Le Marche, a region on the Adriatic coast of Italy. In 1444 Galeazzo Malatesta, the Lord of Pesaro, sold it to Federico da Montefeltro, who prized it for its salubrious climate. Along the Corsa Garibaldi historic buildings include the cathedral and ducal palace known as the Corte Alda.
