Fiano di Avellino DOCG was created in 1978 as a DOC and became a DOCG in 2003 for a white wine from Avellino province (‘Irpinia‘) in Campania in southern Italy. It is based on indigenous grape varieties only. It is considered one of Italy’s finest white wine denominations.
