DROPPELLO | 2011 Toscana Bianco £15-29.99. 100% Sangiovese made as a white. Some oak/vanilla, chips, bit dusty, lactone, phenolic. 15 points. Nothing at DWWA 2nd May 2013.

RED WINES

LODAI | 2008 Maremma Toscana Rosso 33% each Sangiovese, Merlot & Syrah. Smoky broad nose, evolving well, then tea and cedar so perhaps a bit green, menthol, dry tannin, seems youthful for a 2008. 16 Points. Bronze at DWWA 3rd May 2013.

PACTIO | 2016 Toscana Rosso 60% Sangiovese, 20% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 13% alc. 0,9g/l residual sugar. Fermented in stainless steel. Selected yeast. Aged in French oak barrels for 4 months
