Fattoria di Fugnano e Bombereto is an estate winery in Località Fugnano in the San Gimignano region of Tuscany in Italy. Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and DOCG Riserva whites are made, as are Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG reds.

Owner: Laura dell’Aira. She has run the estate since 1997 (aged 23), having inherited it (she was studying law at the time). Her Sicilian grandfather was the founder.

Staff: Consultant oenologist (2019): Emiliano Falsini.

Estate vineyards: 24ha of vines on a 200ha estate. Of this there are 4 hectares of white grapes for Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG (also Chardonnay), and 20 hectares of red grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese) for Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG. The vines lie on two hills facing each other across a valley. 330-340 metres asl. Mainly south-east facing. The soils comprise Pliocene deposits: yellow tufo sands and yellow clays which are often stratified with sand, aiding drainage.

Donna Gina, IGT Toscana Rosso: 100% Sangiovese. Fermented in stainless steel. MLF in French oak barrels. Aged in 25hl wooden vats for 2 years.
