Fattoria Casalino is an estate in Quercegrossa, a locality (‘frazione’) within the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany, Italy. Fattoria Casalino lies alongside the SS22 (km 53/III).

Vineyards: 32ha of land of which 23ha of vines.
Terroir: 350 metres. East, south and west-facing. A mix of ‘galestro, scheletro and sasso’. Also marl, it seems.
Olive groves: Historically the main crop in the Casalino area was olives for olive oil, perhaps as far back as the time when, in the nearby town of Quercegrossa, the artist Jacopo Della Quercia was born in the 14th century. His most famous work was Fonte Gaia, in the Piazza del Campo in Siena.
